Export assistance centers in China


US Exports to China: The US Government actively encourages exports to China. The Government has also opened American Trading Centers (Export Assistance Centers in China) at many locations in China depending on the spread of potential industries which American manufacturers' and exporters think are ripe for the picking. Extensive and comprehensive information is available at the US Government Department of Commerce's websites about which more information will be provided as we go along.

In Export Assistance Centers in China, to start with, the economies of China's second-tier cities are growing at an average rate of 11 per cent annually, they
account for 53.5 per cent of the country's imports and are responsible for responsible for 19 per cent of China's total output and account for for only 8 per cent of China's total population. You, the exporters in the US, can now gain access to over half of China's import market by taking advantage of the great opportunities in China's growing second tier cities. To reach these markets, the Commercial Service now offers its services through American Trading Centers (ATCs) in fourteen of China's key emerging markets: Chongqing, Hangzhou, Nanjing, Ningbo, Qingdao, Shenzhen, Dalian, Harbin, Kunming, Tianjin, Wuhan, Xiamen, Xi-an, and Zhuhai.



Now you exporters may not know offhand which of the Export Assistance Centers in China will be the big push factor for your product or service. Hence, the Commercial Service has identified industries in the greatest need of US services, technologies and products for each of the center locations.
